The Rudd Labor Government today announced Manufacturing Skills Plus, a new program to ensure more Australians have the skills they need for the manufacturing jobs of the future.

The Minister for Employment visited Perth Outdoor Blinds today to meet some new apprentices and discuss the skills that they felt necessary in order to gain employment.

Building on our Step into Skills program, this is the next stage in Federal Labor’s positive plan to support jobs for Australia beyond the mining investment boom.
