Mark McGowan visited Dr John Cooper to inspect a growing local business that is creating new local jobs.
As part of Federal Labor’s $100 million Jobs and Growth Plan, The City of Subiaco recently received a $1 million contribution towards new medical facilities which allowed it to expand its local workforce.
The project will see the workforce grow from 13 people to 40 new full time jobs in Perth.
It involves the construction and installation of a state-of-the-art medical facility in the heart of Subiaco which is home to a number of plastic and reconstructive surgeons.
Rhinoplasty Perth is one of the local Subiaco plastic surgery centres that will make use of the facility.
This is a great example how Federal Labor’s plan for jobs makes a difference to local communities and helps make Perth more competitive.
Federal Labor is committed to giving everyone the chance to fully participate in Australia’s growing economy.
There are future economic challenges and opportunities ahead of us.
Our future is not assured. We need to be smart about our response to these big challenges.
Only Labor’s plan will help diversify our economy, secure jobs and provide future opportunities for Australians.
